PORTLAND STREET EXHIBITION by SINIC & XEME
Portland Street is no doubt the most famous red light district in Hong Kong. Neon lights and vivid signage could be found along the street. All these specially designed “installation” on Portland Street made it an unique attraction in Hong Kong. Two of the most prolific Hong Kong graffiti artist, Sinic and Xeme, was fascinated by the signage and letters in Portland Street, and decides to use it as their visual theme for their upcoming exhibition entitled “Portland Street”. To see how both artists alter this sensitive topic into an aesthetic and playful way, everyone at all age are welcome to join the opening reception from 7-9pm on the 3rd (Friday) of August @ Artist Residence.

砵蘭街展覽 by SINIC & XEME
稱砵蘭街為香港最惡名昭張的紅燈區相信不用置疑。炫目的螢光燈及露骨的指示燈箱招牌在這裡比比皆是，這些砵蘭街上經由精心設計的「作品」形成香港一種獨有的文化產物。兩位富有創造力的香港塗鴉藝術家Sinic和 Xeme 被砵蘭街上各標題字符所吸引，並決定以此作為他們即將舉行的「砵蘭街」展覽的視覺主題。欲窺探他們兩位如何把這敏感的主題發揮成富美感且幽默的作品，歡迎社會各界人士參加於八月3日(星期五) 晚上7時至9時在Artist Residence 的開幕招待會。
