Norway, Hong Kong and Friends.
A final selection of personal photographic and video documentation made between 2008 – 2012.
The exhibition documents the personal relationships, experiences, and surroundings of the photographer, between his twin homes in Bergen, Norway and Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong.
The collection is composed to demonstrate the intimacy between the photographer, subject and viewer; but also his personal relationship with the sharply contrasting environments of Norway and Hong Kong.
Glenn-Eugen Ellingsen was born in Bergen, Norway in 1989.
Growing up amongst a creative family, and drawing inspiration from a youth spent in the countryside surrounding Bergen, Glenn has been creating work in photography and new visual media for the past five years.
Based in Kowloon, Hong Kong, since 2010, he is continuing to build and develop personal and commercial creative projects, taking new inspirations from these new surroundings.
