12 STORIES – Where is Now After All – 十二個故事

12 Stories – Where is Now after all is a collective exhibition by 12 artist-educators from across the globe. With diverse backgrounds we come together in an intriguing mosaic of reflections and revelations, all circulating one question: ‘Where is Now, after all?’

We answer in community, language, traditions and values; from Hong Kong and from home. We answer in many colours; in ceramic, chorus; oil, film; fine art, illustration, and acting; in Chinese ink and poetry. This beguiling array draws from Asian folklore and personal fables; our works examine movement from stillness; Hong Kong in autumn, and the lives of street sweepers, to name but a few themes.

Between clockwork drawings and thangka paintings we might glimpse the practical effect of arts in education on us as the artists and examine the interwoven diversity of Eastern and Western approaches in rare collaboration.
